Migros is one of Switzerland’s largest retail companies and is structured in the form of a cooperative society, with more than two million members. Migros does not only offer their own products but also a lot of brands. It also offers many other services like textile cleaning or many gardening tools in their Do + It store.  You can buy anything regarding groceries and houseware except for alcohol. If you plan to stay longer in Switzerland, it might be worth it to get a Cumulus card. You can use this card to receive points for every purchase at Migros and their stores. There are multiple Migros grocery shops in Lucerne, just keep an eye out for a big orange M.

Coop is one of Switzerland’s biggest retail and wholesale companies. Coop does not only offer their own products but also a lot of other brands. Different product lines cover the request for ecological, culinary, and price worthy products. If you stay longer in Switzerland you can ask for a Supercard, which earns you points after a purchase at Coop and you can use these points to make future purchases.
Coop sells anything you’re looking for in terms of groceries and houseware. There are multiple Coop grocery shops in Lucerne, just keep an eye out for the orange and yellow letters COOP.

Globus sells mostly upscale goods, including clothing, cosmetics, jewellery and household supplies. The store is generally noted for its extensive delicatessen section. From caviar over rainbow pepper to a rose Himalayan salt, you can find it in Globus. Globus also sells a lot of houseware products.

Regional Market, Rathausquai & Bahnhofstrasse & Jesuitenplatz

The regional market is a market on which mainly regional, fresh, seasonal and agricultural food products are offered. In addition, flowers, plants, regional and international products and specialities are offered. The market is also a good opportunity to buy a present or souvenir.

Shanghai Shop Lucerne

Carries both Asian and Indian goods and has a really good frozen section. If you’re into exotic food this is definitely your best option in terms of grocery stores in Lucerne.
